Hair is just hair…

It’s been a while since I’ve shared in this space (three months to be exact) and so much has happened but I’ll get to that in other posts. Today I wanted to follow-up on a post I shared before about my hair transition.

The beginning of this year I decided I needed to embrace my authentic self in every aspect of my life, so I started with my hair. 🙂 At first it was a difficult decision to make because I was challenged by managing natural hair every day.

Today I’m in a place where I’m embracing all my hair, kinks and all and I’m not afraid to make adjustments to it. I wish I could say something more poetic about this decision but really …

I just woke up one morning, followed my gut,  said “hair is just hair, fuck it, it’ll grow back” and I did this….

So my loves, embrace your authentic self; be true to your feelings and just live. Kiss a stranger, make love, love harder, consider second chances, call a friend. Whatever you do, do it for you and enjoy every moment of it!
